Alter High School and Sinclair Open New Resource Center

Kettering, OH (12/18/2008) – Sinclair Community College will open a new resource center at Alter High School. The Taylor College Resource Center has been made possible thanks to a generous donation from John and Connie Taylor through the Sinclair Community College Foundation.

Sinclair and Alter will jointly host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, December 19, at 4 p.m. at Alter High School.

The College Resource Center will house 20 state-of-the-art computers with test prep software for the PSAT, SAT and ACT, as well as study software for the OGT. Students will also have access to computer-aided career and college counseling.

VIDEO/INTERVIEWS: There will be 25–30 guests, including the Taylors, Alter officials and students, and Sinclair representatives. Tours of the lab will be available with ongoing demonstrations.
