Sinclair Survives UC - Clermont


Dayton, OH – Sinclair and University of Cincinnati – Clermont would have their second meeting in the last 17 days and both teams struggled with shooting. The Tartan Pride shot 35% from the field in the first half and UC – Clermont was only 27% and the half ended with a 4 point Sinclair lead, 23-19.

The Pride picked up the pace shooting an improved 43% and took the lead for good with one minute remaining with two free throws from Sophomore Brandi McDaniels. The final would be 61-54 and improving Sinclair's season record to 6-2.

Leading the way for Sinclair was Katie VonLehmden (Sophomore, Fort Jennings H.S.) with 20 points and McDaniels (Sophomore, Franklin H.S.) with 13 points.

Sinclair's next home game will be on Wednesday, December 28, as both Men and Women play OU – Chillicothe.

Game Time on Wednesday will be 5:30 PM. The game will be played at the downtown campus in Building 8.
