Sinclair and Warren County Career Center partner to provide nurse aide training Mason, OH – Sinclair Community College Courseview and the Warren County Career Center will partner to offer nurse aide training at the Courseview campus this fall.

This six credit hour, 78-clock-hour, training program prepares students to take the Ohio certification exam to be a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). Many STNAs provide appropriate care for the elderly and ill patients in a long-term care facility. This program consists of 62 hours of classroom lecture and laboratory practice and a 16-hour unpaid, supervised externship in a local long-term care facility.

According to Sinclair Executive Dean George Sehi, “Sinclair Community College and the Warren County Career Center have had a long, collaborative relationship. This is one more example of how our two institutions can work together for the benefit of Warren County residents.”

"WCCC is glad to collaborate on this venture, it is one of many partnerships we have worked on with Sinclair," WCCC Superintendent Maggie Hess said.

The program will be offered beginning fall quarter. Several sections will be offered allowing students flexibility in scheduling. For more information, contact the Sinclair Courseview campus at 513-339-1212.
