Lady Pride Tops Rio Grande JV



Dayton, OH – Sinclair Women's Tartan Pride basketball team coming off a tough loss to University of Cincinnati – Clermont, looked to rebound as they hosted University of Rio Grande in a Friday evening game. It didn't the Tartan Pride long to open up a comfortable lead in the first half as they took a 39-27 edge going in a the half

The Pride shot 48% from the field for the game and would go on to win by the final of 71-49.

Four players scored in double figures led by second year players India Taste (Sophomore, Trotwood-Madison H.S.) and Katie VonLehmden (Sophomore, Fort Jennings H.S.) each had 17 points and teammate Danielle Forrer (Sophomore, Troy Christian H.S.) added 13 and 5 steals.
The Lady Pride move to 5-2 on the season.

Sinclair's next home game will be on Tuesday, December 13, as they have the rematch with UC – Clermont.

Game Time on Tuesday will be 5:30 PM. The game will be played at the downtown campus.
