Columbus State Downs Sinclair

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Men’s Basketball team hosted the number five team in the land Columbus State in Ohio Community College Athletic Conference, OCCAC action at the Physical Activities Center on the campus of Sinclair this evening. Billed as the early season National Junior College Athletic Association game of the Week, it lived up to it's billing!

Sinclair down at half 48-41, The Pride would cut the lead to six at 72-66 with under 7 minutes to play. But Columbus would slow it down and pull away 95-83. Leading The way for The Pride was Jason Clardy with 17 points. Derek Ober (Jefferson) had 16 and British Alexander (Trotwood) and Maurice Mendoza had 12 each.

#12 Sinclair goes to 14-3 overall and 1-2 in OCCAC. The Sinclair will return to action at home this Saturday as they take on Cuyahoga College at 4:00 PM at the Physical Activities Center on the campus of Sinclair College.
