(#12)Sinclair (14-2/1-1) Men drop first OCCAC game at Lakeland CC (11-6/1-0) 69-71
Kirkland, OH – Sinclair Men’s Basketball team lose a heartbreaker at the buzzer.
Sinclair finished off a stretch of 10 out of 11 road games with a 2 point loss at OCCAC rival Lakeland C.C. The Pride tied the game at 69 with 34 seconds left to go in the game. Coming out of a time out, Lakeland ran the clock down to 2.7 second before hitting an 18 footer to put the home team up 2. Sinclair’s final shot with 2.0 seconds rimed in and out as the clock expired. Early foul trouble and 20+ turnovers contributed to the Pride’s first conference loss.
The Sinclair Men’s team will return to conference action on Wednesday at home against #5 Columbus State CC.
