Sinclair Choral Ensembles to Present "A Night of Favorites"

Dayton, OH- The Sinclair Men's Ensemble, Gospel Ensemble and Sinclair Singers Show Ensemble will present a concert of works with the theme of "A Night of Favorites" on June 5, 2009 at 8:00pm in the Blair Hall Theatre on the Sinclair Community College Campus.
Conducted by Professor Daniel B. Greene, the groups will present songs from three main genres of music.

The Men's Ensemble will present the Classical and Art music for the evening, with works presented by such composers as Verdi, Nelson, and Grieg. Along with the art music, the men will sing a couple popular songs in the "Do Wop" fashion.
The Gospel Ensemble will present gospel worship and praise works from artists such as Kirk Franklin, Israel Houghton, and Martha Munizzi. The group will be accompanied by the horn section from the jazz group, "Joshua Jazz."
The Sinclair Singers will present songs from six musicals, including, Grease, Guys and Dolls, West Side Story, Mamma Mia, and Hairspray. The show ensemble will perform, employing, choreographed movement, dance, special light and sound design, as well as costumes.
According to Professor Greene. "This is definitely another exciting show to see and hear."

Admission is free and open to the public.
