Tennis battles Ohio Wesleyan University

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Women’s Tennis loses 1-8 to the very talented NCAA Division III power Ohio Wesleyan University Monday night.

The Tartan Pride got off to an impressive start as Freshman Tory Painter won at #1 Singles (6-2, 6-4). That match seemed to set the tone for what was in store for the visiting Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan.

Ohio Wesleyan boosted a much older and more experienced team that even included a 2nd team All-Conference (NCAC) Junior. Not phased with the task at hand, the Pride contested every match and even pushed several games to tie breaks.
