Sinclair (4-0/0-0) Women’s Basketball wins against Miami University - Middletown (0-5/0-0) 61-55. 

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Women’s Basketball team hosted the Miami University - Middletown team this evening in a non-conference contest. 

Coming off a hard-fought road win against Mott C. C. (Flint, MI), the Lady Pride started with an early lead which Miami University tied by the halftime break, 31-31. 

Sinclair rallied to pull away by 6 in the second half. Using constant pressure, they wore their opponents down and beat the Thunderhawks – winning a game of back and forth runs 61-55, and extending their unbeaten streak to 4 games in a row. 

The top scorers from Sinclair were led by Chelcie Gullett (5-05 Xenia H.S.) with 20 points, and Emily Frey (6-00 Versailles H.S.) with 16 points and Haleigh Hickenbottom (5-08 West Liberty Salem). The Sinclair Women’s team will return to action this Saturday the 21st of November (2:00pm) for non-conference road match up at the Rio Grande.
