Word has a useful feature to quickly create six common diagrams:
- Organizational Chart
- Shows heirarchial relationships
- Cycle Diagram
- Show a process with a continuous cycle
- Radial Diagrams
- Shows relationships around a core element
- Pyramid Diagrams
- Shows foundation relationships
- Venn Diagrams
- Shows areas of overlap between elements
- Target Diagram
- Shows steps toward a goal
To create one of these, go to INSERT | DIAGRAM on the menu. It will open the "diagram gallery." Simply choose one, customize it with the tool bar and label it with text. In ten minutes, tops, you'll have a nice looking diagram.
