The Writing Center is a gathering place for writers. Students from any class can bring a paper they are working on to receive FREE help from a trained tutor. The Writing Center also offers assistance with research skills, MLA and APA format, and editing skills.
Sinclair's poetry club, MELO, meets in the Writing Center on Friday afternoons at 2 p.m. Students may also attend workshops in the Center on plagiarism, writer's block, and other topics that are offered at various times during each quarter.
