MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to engage students in collaborative sessions to develop stronger writers and enrich their academic experience.

OUR SERVICES

Sinclair’s Writing Lab is dedicated to supporting students through course work and the writing process. As such, students may meet with a writing tutor for help brainstorming and understanding assignment directions, but they may also meet to discuss questions about writing, review course topics, receive feedback, or apply feedback already given by their instructors. Students with completed drafts can email their writing and assignment directions/guidelines/prompt/rubric to the Writing Lab for written feedback commentary. In addition, the Writing Lab hosts and develops numerous handouts and resources to support student learning. Faculty can email to request an in-class workshop on various topics.

Writing is an important academic, professional, and personal skill. The Writing Lab encourages all voices. We look forward to helping you learn.
