The Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC) is a student resource which provides professional tutoring in the subject areas of English grammar and writing, reading text marking and note taking strategies, and basic math.
Most of the professional tutors are faculty members here at Sinclair or other colleges and are experts in their content areas. The Center also provides computer areas for students, access to faculty-approved online resources in the same content areas, and supplemental learning materials in the forms of DVDs, worksheets and handouts.

Did You Know?
Sinclair's student/faculty ratio of 19 to 1, among the lowest at Ohio's colleges, allows students to receive more individual attention.
Sinclair is one of only 12 Vanguard Learning Colleges in the U.S. and Canada, named for our "outstanding record of achievement in learning-centered education."
Out of 1,200 community colleges in the nation, Sinclair is one of 20 board member colleges of the League for Innovation in the Community College.
Nine of our students have made the Academic All-American First Team for Community, Technical and Junior Colleges—more than at any other community college.
