How Five Hall of Fame Coaches Hastened Integration in College Athletics

Michael Carter, Superintendent of School and Community Partnerships, and his brother, Attorney Darnell Carter, will make a presentation on how college athletics and society were changed forever in 1966. The presentation will examine the events that occurred in 1966 that forever changed the landscape of major college sports, as well our thinking concerning them. Michael and Darnell will also discuss interesting stories and anecdotes that will provide context to their thoughts about 1966 and its effect on us today.
