Tory Painter wins the Region Championship in both singles and doubles.  Tory, along with her doubles partner Karen Haviland, clinched the #1 spot in doubles the first day of the tournament.  The secound day Tory played for the #1 singles flight for the whole tournament against an opponent that was unbeaten during the regular season.  Tory won the match in a gruling secound set tie-breaker, finnishing off the match with a very difficult overhead.
