Wed., Nov. 5 - Sinclair 44 at Rio Grande JV 58
Sinclair suffered their first loss on the season to the Redstorm of Rio Grande 58-44. Rio jumped out to a quick lead as the Tartan Pride got into the game. Rio jumped out to a quick 7-2 lead but Sinclair came back 13-9. Scoring was definately kept low during the first half with Rio holding a 27-22 lead. The second half started with a couple of quick baskets by Rio but Sinclair battled back and pulled within 5 at the 8:00 mark at 42-37. But Rio picked up the pressure to force some turnovers and capitalized on easy baskets to extend their lead and never looked back. SO Amanda White was the only scorer in double-digits contributing 16 points and 8 rebounds. FR Jessica Myers added 7 points and 6 rebounds, FR Chelcie Gullett added 6 points, SO Morgan Davis added 5 points and 5 rebounds, FR Jana Gross added 4 points and 5 assists. Also contributing with 2 points a piece were SO Alisha Grieves and FR Jessica Pierre and Chelsea Thompson.

Sat., Nov. 8 - Sinclair 50 vs. Cedarville JV 64
Sinclair fought a tough battle against the Yellow Jackets of Cedarville before surrending to a 64-50 defeat. The Tartan Pride jumped out to a quick lead of 9-3 at the 16:00 mark but went cold over the next 8 minutes that allowed Cedarville to take a 15-9 at 8:00. Both teams traded baskets the rest of the half and Cedarville had a 32-25 lead at half. Cedarville started the 2nd half with a 8-2 run to extend their lead to 15. The Tartans managed to put a run together around the 8:00 mark to pull themselves back in the game but the Yellow Jackets hit some key shots to seal the victory at 64-50. Leading the way for Sinclair was SO Alisha Grieves with 19 points and 8 rebounds and FR Chelcie Gullett with 17 points and 6 assists. SO Amanda White added 6 points and 9 rebounds, FR Chelsea Thompson had 4 points and 9 rebounds, SO Morgan Davis contributed 2 points and 9 rebounds, and FR Jessica Myers added 2 points and 7 rebounds.

Tues., Nov. 11 - Sinclair 77 at Miami Univ. Middletown 43
The Tartan Pride earned their first victory on the young season defeating Miami Univ. of Middletown 77-43. Play got off to a slow start in the beginning with MUM actually holding a 8-7 lead at 16:00 mark. Sinclair went on a 21-10 run to take control of the first half and held a 34-24 lead at halftime. Both teams traded baskets to start the 2nd half with Sinclair holding a 41-32 lead at 14:00 mark. Then the Tartans went on an 11-4 run to secure control of the game at 52-36 and pulled away from the Thunderhawks for the 77-43 victory. Leading the way for the Tartans were SO Amanda White with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, FR Chelcie Gullett with 14 points, and FR Rebekah Carter with 12 points. Every player got in the scoring column for Sinclair. Also contributing were FR Jessica Myers with 9 points and 5 rebounds, FR Jana Gross with 7 points and 8 assists, FR Chelsea Thompson with 6 points and 12 rebounds, SO Morgan Davis with 4 points and 4 assists, and SO Alisha Grieves with 2 points.

Sat., Nov. 15 - Sinclair 59 vs. Mott 52
Sinclair hosted the Clash of Champions with Mott CC from the Michigan Community College Athletic Assocation and came away with a victory 59-52. Both teams got off to a sluggish start with Mott holding a 4-2 lead at 16:00. Sinclair hit a few shots and gained an advantage 17-10 at 4:00 and held on to a slim 23-21 lead at the half. Both teams came out hot in the second half trading baskets on both ends of the floor. Mott took a slight lead at 12:00 38-37 and several lead changes were made after this mark. Sinclair was ahead 48-44 at 6:00 and went on a 11-8 run to finish the game and seal the victory 59-52. The Pride was lead by So Amanda White who recorded the first double-double on the season with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Fr Chelcie Gullett added 16 points and was 9 of 10 from the foul line. Also contributing were So Alisha Grieves with 7 points and 16 rebounds, Fr Chelsea Thompson with 6 points and 8 rebounds, Fr Jana Gross with 4 point and 5 assists, Fr Rebekah Carter with 4 points, and Fr Jessica Myers with 4 points.
