2011-2012 Season Preview
The Pride finished the regular season with a 20-9 overall record which included being ranked as high as 13th in the top 20 of the NJCAA Division II polls. The Pride has averaged over 21 wins the last four years and a 71% winning percentage, while earning a Regular Season OCCAC title (2007-08) as well as advancing to the NJCAA Region XII Finals in that same year (Round of 32).
During this same time frame, the Pride has faced off in Post-Season competition with two of the teams that have advanced to the NJCAA Division II National Championship game. Sinclair keeps knocking on the door, winning close games and playing a very exciting brand of basketball.

Jeff Price has been the Tartan Pride’s head coach since 2003. He is now in his 9th year at Sinclair and his 20th year of coaching at the collegiate level. The framework has been set for a solid educational foundation as well as the re-birth of a competitive NJCAA Division II Men’s Basketball program.
