The state of Ohio requires that persons living in Ohio for more than 90 days apply and obtain an Ohio Driver's License. You will need to bring a letter from the foreign student advisor verifying that you are enrolled at Sinclair on F1 status. Come to the Office of Registration & Student Records to request this letter. You may be required to take a written examination and/or a driving test. You may obtain a booklet explaining Ohio driving regulations from a driver's license bureau. Look in the telephone directory yellow pages under, "Licenses". When you go to take the test(s), bring your passport, I-94, I-20, the letter from your foreign student advisor, and your International Driver's License if you have it, with your checkbook or cash.
