ADMISSIONS AND RECRUITMENT

Foreign Transcript Evaluation Procedure

Sinclair Community College has neither the resources nor the expertise to evaluate academic transcripts for students who have attended academic institutions outside the United States. Should you wish to have coursework evaluated for the purpose of obtaining college transfer credit at Sinclair, you must have your transcript evaluated by a foreign credentials evaluation service.

Once you receive the evaluation report from the service, you must send the report and an original or certified copy of the transcript to the Office of Registration & Student Records, 444 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402-1454. You will receive a Transfer Credit Evaluation Report in the mail from the Registration Office. Next, you must make an appointment with the academic advisor in the division in which you are or plan to study. Only your advisor can formally grant you transfer credit for your specific program of study. If you do not meet with your advisor, you cannot receive transfer credit.
