Dean's Executive Council

The Dean’s Executive Council (DEC) was created in 2003 to bring together executives from business, industry, and education that could advise and collaborate with the Leadership Team in the Science, Mathematics and Engineering division at Sinclair Community College. The council members are highly motivated senior leaders in their field and a part of meaningful change and development in the region.

The DEC Mission & Description and Accomplishments explain our intention to bring state of the art technology and cutting edge educational methods together to better serve our students and the community. The council has helped clarify our mission and goals as well as the seven Major Initiatives that have been defined in our division. Significant progress has been achieved in the initial years of the Dean’s Executive Council.

Our work on the council will further enhance the quality teaching and learning taking place in the classroom and, in turn, will produce highly qualified graduates to lead the workforce of the future.
