SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS & ENGINEERING

Transfer Options

Some engineering technology students choose to earn transfer credits toward a baccalaureate degree at another college or university. For this reason, the Engineering & Industrial Technologies Division has designed flexible transfer options so that students can begin working on their degrees at Sinclair.

Check out the links below for information about some of the options available.

The Engineering Science University Parallel program is designed for students who are planning to transfer credits to a baccalaureate program in engineering science at a four-year school after completing course work at Sinclair.

The Sinclair/University of Dayton Dual Admission program allows students to transfer from a qualifying engineering and industrial technology program at Sinclair to a corresponding engineering technology program at UD. Upon applying to UD, students will receive an annual one-third tuition scholarship if they are in a qualifying program and have a qualifying grade point average (GPA).

The Sinclair/University of Toledo Distance Education program allows students who complete Sinclair's Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology program to earn a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering Technology at UT without leaving the Miami Valley.

Articulation (transfer) agreements are arrangements between Sinclair and specific colleges and universities to transfer credits both to and from Sinclair.

If you are planning to transfer credits to another school, you are encouraged to plan your program carefully with one of our E&IT Counselors, as well as a counselor at the transfer school. Ultimately, the receiving institution makes the final decision regarding acceptability of credits.

If you want to transfer credits to Sinclair from another college or university, you must arrange to have your college transcripts sent to Sinclair for evaluation. Official college transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution to:
