One of the strengths of Sinclair's program is the many collaborations with local industry and non-profits to provide locations for field experience for the students to enhance their classroom and laboratory learning. Sinclair students have participated in utility scale solar PV installations and residential solar thermal installations. Students have also participated in funded energy assessments of residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
