
The Associate of Applied Science in Computer Aided Manufacturing, Mechanical Option is designed to place greater emphasis on the theory-oriented areas of engineering technology.
Students will study topics such as work methods analysis, value engineering, process engineering, industrial facilities layout, and statistical process control.
Several credit hours of industrial electives are offered to allow the student an opportunity to specialize in specific areas, such as computer numerical control (CNC) programming, and computer integrated workcells.
Courses in this program include areas of study such as tooling and manufacturing processes, computers in engineering technology, quality control, and CNC applications.
Students' course work is rounded out by English composition, technical mathematics, effective speaking, and electives.
