Computer Aided Manufacturing (Project STEP II) Certificate

Computer Aided Manufacturing STEP II Certificate is offered by Sinclair Community College in cooperation with the Dayton Tooling and Manufacturing Association, and is designed to be an intensive training program.

Evening classes are offered in addition to daytime classes. Evening classes are available both on-campus and at the Patterson Career Academy, located at 441 River Corridor Drive at Monument and Webster Streets in downtown Dayton.

Completion of this certificate prepares a graduate for employment in the tool and die industry, as well as for career advancement. STEP II students will receive 25-30 hours of classroom and laboratory instruction per week, and will produce for personal use tools valued at approximately $1,500.


 

Graduates of Project STEP II who wish to earn an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Aided Manufacturing Option can do so by completing only three additional quarters of classwork.
