(CAM, INT)

The world of manufacturing is seeking professionals who can help them produce products that are higher in quality and lower in cost. You can be a part of this fast-growing field with the Computer Aided Manufacturing program.

Students can gain valuable hands-on experience through the school's co-op program while achieving college credit for practical work experience.

What are the objectives of the Computer Aided Manufacturing program at Sinclair?

The Computer Aided Manufacturing program provides current and essential hands-on skills with knowledge in the area of Computer Aided Manufacturing.  The curriculum provides leading edge technology in the focus areas of machining, tool design, jig and fixture design and CNC programming and applications.  This leads students to careers and/or enrollment in a four-year manufacturing technology program. We are also a Haas Technical Education Center.

What are the objectives of the Computer Aided Manufacturing, Mechanical Option program at Sinclair?

The Computer Aided Manufacturing, Mechanical Option program provides more theory-oriented areas of engineering technology.  The curriculum offers a broad coverage of areas such as work methods analysis, computer applications, value engineering, process engineering, facilities layout and statistical process control.  Graduating students may choose from immediate job opportunities or enrollment in a four-year program.

What are the objectives of the Computer Aided Manufacturing Option program at Sinclair?

The Computer Aided Manufacturing Option program allows graduates of the STEP II one-year certificate program to complete an associate degree program.  A greater development of knowledge in industrial courses is emphasized including areas such as tool design, computer numerical control programming and applications, jig and fixture design, process engineering and value engineering.  Graduating students may exercise options from seeking immediate employment or furthering their manufacturing education in a four-year program.
