Automation and Control Technology with Robotics

Areas of study for the Associate of Applied Science in Automation & Control Technology concentrate on electronics, computers, programming, industrial controls, and all areas of robotic applications typically used in local manufacturing facilities.

Courses generally include an applications lab component which combines theory with relevant hands-on experience using Sinclair's modern electronics, computer, and industrial robotics labs.

To round out the student's education, the program also includes courses in technical mathematics, communications, physics, and technical elective courses such as Machine Vision and programmable logic controller (PLC) programming.
