Students who want to pursue the American Honda PACT Program must first be interviewed by Professor David S. Stover, the Honda coordinator. After the interview process a letter will be mailed to all students, notifying them whether or not they have been accepted.
Those students who have been accepted into the PACT program will meet with the coordinator during the month of August, at which time they will register for classes as a group for the coming academic year.
Applicants for the Honda PACT program must first meet the following requirements for admission to Sinclair Community College.
- Obtain an Application for Admission from the Office of Admissions in Building 10 room 10-112, or online from the Sinclair Admissions website. Submit the completed application to the Office of Registration & Student Records, Building 10, room 10-231. The Application for Admission is also available at the college placement Testing Center.
-
If you are pursuing a degree or certificate, you must take the college placement test in the areas of mathematics, English, and reading. The placement test is administered in Building 10, fourth floor, room 10-445. Allow three hours to take the test. For more information, contact the Testing Center, room 10-445, (937) 512-3076.
- If you have attended another college or university and you want to transfer credits, send official college transcripts directly from the issuing institution to the Office of Registration & Student Records, room 10-231. After the transcripts have been sent, contact the Engineering Counselors office (937)512-2282 and request to have the transcripts evaluated. The evaluation will indicate which transfer courses will align with the Honda PACT program.
