Automotive technology is a challenging, high-paying career path, and it begins with your desire to succeed along with state-of-the-art training from Sinclair Community College.

Sinclair's Automotive Technology program provides advanced, hands-on training for skilled entry-level positions in automobile dealerships, independent garages, and auto-related industries.

Sinclair's Automotive Technology curriculum is fully accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).

Hunter Engineering Company trains students and experienced service technicians at regional training centers throughout the country, and Sinclair is one of these training sites

Students can gain valuable hands-on experience through the school's co-op program while achieving college credit for practical work experience.

What are the objectives of the Automotive Technology program at Sinclair?

The Automotive Technology Program is designed to provide NATEF certified training for students aspiring to become automotive service technicians. Specific corporate training is provided in the following programs, all designed to develop technicians for their respective dealerships: General Motors ASEP (Automotive Service Education Program), Chrysler CAP (College Apprenticeship Program), Ford MLR (Maintenance and Light Repair), and American Honda PACT (Professional Automotive Career Training).

As a world-class program Sinclair's Automotive Technology department is highly recognized as a leader in training for the automotive industry. This provides a substantial advantage to our graduates in seeking employment.
