Accreditation

The program is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), a member of the Council on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs  (CAAHEP)

Upon completion of the program the graduate is eligible for the national credentialling examinations provided by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Graduates will also be eligible for a license to practice in the State of Ohio via the Ohio Respiratory Care Board (ORC). In addition, graduates meet the  requirements for licensure in other states.

Respiratory Care Professionals are given active membership status when they join the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).

Nine of our students have made the Academic All-American First Team for Community, Technical and Junior Colleges—more than at any other community college.
Our division houses the Dental Hygiene Clinic, providing preventive care to the community.
Sinclair has established more than 100 transfer agreements to assist students in transferring to other colleges.
More than 4,000 students have graduated from our associate degree in nursing program.
