Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology

Who are Radiographers?

Radiographers are radiologic technologists who specialize in medical imaging.  Advanced technical knowledge and human compassion are the most important features of registered radiographers. They specialize in medical imaging by providing patient care in routine and special procedures performed to diagnose, prevent, and treat disease. Radiographers often assist radiologists and other physicians in the delivery of health care services in medical imaging and other related departments. Radiation protection practices of the radiographer provide for safe radiation environments.
