College Application Process for Sinclair

Please note that the Sinclair Radiologic Technology Program (RAT) is offered at its main campus in Dayton as well as through distance learning at the Hocking College campus located in Nelsonville, Ohio (see About the Program for more details).

To ensure completion of all admission requirements, you should make an appointment with a Life and Health Sciences Advisor by calling 937-512-3700. The academic advisors are located in Building 11, Room 11346. (See the College Application Process for Sinclair’s Program at Hocking College if you are interested in enrolling in the Sinclair Radiologic Technology Program offered at the Hocking College campus).

  1. Mail the completed Life and Health Sciences Application to the Life and Health Sciences Department in room 6-142. Remember to indicate Radiologic Technology as your program of interest.  
  2. Apply online. A one-time, non-refundable $20 application fee will be assessed at the time of initial registration.
  3. An official copy of transcripts from all higher educational institutions which you have attended must be officially mailed by that institution and sent to the Office of Registration and Student Records. Do not mail the transcript to the Radiology office.
  4. You must complete the Sinclair Placement Tests to assess your skills in English, Reading, and Mathematics. These tests are required of all entering, degree-seeking students at Sinclair Community College. If you have transferable credits from another institution, please bring unofficial or official transcripts for review to determine whether placement testing is required. These tests are administered at Sinclair at no charge. Refer to the New Student Enrollment Process site for placement testing information.
  5. You must complete all program course prerequisites, including all courses indicated by Placement Testing results.
