College Application Process for Sinclair’s Program at Hocking College

If you are interested in enrolling in the Sinclair Radiologic Technology Program offered at the Hocking College campus, contact the admissions office (concourse area) by calling 1-740-753-7068 and indicate your interest in Sinclair’s Radiologic Technology Program.

  1. Apply online, visit the Hocking College Welcome Center, or call 1-877-HOCKING to request a paper version of the application. A fee of $15 should accompany your application. Hocking College is an open-enrollment institution, so your application will be processed immediately and you'll receive an acceptance letter within 10 days. To apply online or print the Hocking College application.
  2. If you enroll in the Sinclair Radiologic Technology Program offered at the Hocking Campus, you must also apply to Sinclair. A one-time, non-refundable $20 application fee will be assessed at the time of initial registration.
  3. An official copy of transcripts from higher educational institutions that you have attended must be mailed by that institution, and sent directly to both the Offices of Registration and Student Records at Hocking and Sinclair Community Colleges; do not mail the transcript to the Radiology office.
  4. You must complete the Hocking Entry Course Placement Tests to assess your skills in English, Reading, and Mathematics. These tests are required of all entering, degree-seeking students. If you have transferable credits from another institution, please bring unofficial or official transcripts for review to determine whether placement testing is required.  These tests are administered at no charge. The Testing Center at Hocking is open daily from 10:00am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding college breaks. If you have taken the ACT, send your scores to the Admissions Office at Hocking College or bring them with you. You may not need to complete Entry Course Placement if your ACT scores indicate college-level placement.
  5. You must complete all program course prerequisites, including all courses indicated by Placement Testing results.
