Philosophy
The philosophy of the Physical Education Program at Sinclair Community College is to develop a well-rounded, healthy, productive individual capable of taking an active role in society, which obviously includes the wise utilization of leisure and/or recreational time.
The goals of the Physical Education program are to: 1) develop sound physical fitness and health concepts, 2) increase skills and techniques related to various activities, 3) create favorable attitudes and appreciation toward fitness, 4) enhance one's knowledge of proper health and fitness and 5) foster better use of leisure time.

Pass rates on credentialing/licensing exams for health care programs at Sinclair far exceed state and national pass rate averages.
More than 4,000 students have graduated from our associate degree in nursing program.
