Grading Scale and Grade Rounding Policy

GRADING SCALE

A = 93 - 100
B = 86 - 92
C = 80 - 85
D = 73 - 79
F = 72 OR BELOW

GRADE ROUNDING POLICY

1. No grades are to be rounded until the final grade.
2. The final total points are divided by the total points available for the course.
3. If the final percentage is less than a whole number, the following rules are
    utilized to determine the score by a whole number.
    a. When the number is .50 or greater, the score is rounded to the next highest 
        number. (i.e.: 79.50 = 80%)
    b. When the number is .49 or less, the score is rounded to the next lowest
        number. (i.e., 92.49 = 92%)
