Course Sequence Policy
  • The non-nursing courses in each quarter must be taken prior to or concurrently with the nursing course in that quarter.
  • A grade of "C" or better must be received in all courses in order to progress.
  • If a student withdraws or fails a course, that course must be retaken before continuing on to the next nursing course.
  • A student not currently enrolled in a nursing course is not considered to be in the Nursing Program and must petition for reinstatement.

Note: ALH Portfolio electives must be completed after successful completion of NSG 220 to apply toward required program credits.

Our division houses the Dental Hygiene Clinic, providing preventive care to the community.
HIM graduates are able to take certification exams right after their Sinclair coursework to receive their credentials.
Nine of our students have made the Academic All-American First Team for Community, Technical and Junior Colleges—more than at any other community college.
