Accelerated Admission for Academic Achievement

The Division of Life and Health Sciences has established the Accelerated Admission for Academic Achievement (AAAA) program for several of its departments. The AAAA has been developed to encourage students to be highly successful in core courses and reward these students for academic excellence by allowing accelerated entrance into LHS programs. The LHS programs may admit up to 25% of entering students based on department-specific academic criteria. This allows the Nursing Program to admit up to 25% of its entering students each quarter based on academic achievement, rather than placement on the eligibility list. If the number of qualified applicants is greater than 25%, students will be selected based on highest to lowest GPA of the applicants. If not selected, a student may re-apply for the next quarter, providing the student remains on the eligibility list and continues to meet the AAAA criteria.
