Nursing is a challenging and satisfying profession where one person can make a difference in the lives of others. This eight-quarter program prepares registered nurses who will provide nursing care in a competent, caring manner.
Registered nurses function as providers of nursing care, patient teachers, communicators, managers of patient care and members of the profession. These responsibilities make it necessary for nurses to be conscientious persons who are well organized, able to make logical decisions, able to function effectively under pressure, and maintain a high energy level.
