Under the Allied Health Technology department, we offer a variety of certificate programs including Allied Health Management, Clinical Phlebotomy, EKG, Multi-Skilling, and Nurse Aide Training.

Though most dental hygienists are employed by private dental practitioners (dentists), dental hygiene offers a variety of career options.

Here's food for thought: With Sinclair's Dietetic Technology program, you'll have the skills necessary to work with licensed, registered dietitians to provide nutritional guidance and medical nutrition therapy for clients/patients. This program also opens additional career opportunities available in the foodservice industry, and as a community dietetic professional.

The Sinclair Health Information Management Program is designed to prepare students for this ever-changing and constantly growing field. Within the program, students will cover a wide range of topics including health information management, medical terminology, computer applications, health informatics, coding, healthcare statistics, healthcare reimbursement, continuous quality improvement, resource management, and other pertinent information.

Medical Assistants are multi-skilled professionals who assist physicians with the adminstrative and clinical aspects of patient care.

Since 1967, we've trained over 1200 qualified mental health professionals now working in the fields of mental health and human services, chemical dependency treatment, gerontology, corrections, and mental retardation.

Nursing is a challenging and satisfying profession where one person can make a difference in the lives of others. This eight-quarter program prepares registered nurses who will provide nursing care in a competent, caring manner.

The Center for Nursing Continuing Education at Sinclair Community College is committed to providing continuing education designed to help nurses in the community develop and maintain knowledge and skills to facilitate career development.


The AAS degree is earned after seven consecutive quarters of study. The curriculum is designed to reflect the current requirements of the profession, accreditation standards of the American Physical Therapy Association, APTA, and the mission of Sinclair Community College.

Sinclair's Radiologic Technology program prepares you for a career in one of the fastest-evolving areas of health care today.

Respiratory Care is a career for highly motivated individuals seeking to apply their technical, scientific, and human relation skills in the fast-paced environment of health care.

The Surgical Technology program at Sinclair offers the opportunity to prepare for a career as a member of a surgical team.
