Successful completion of an approved EFDA course is a prerequisite for attendance. This course meets the requirement for the remediation for auxiliaries who have not passed the certifying examination after 2 attempts.
Participants must bring their own Kilgore typodont (Model # D85-DP200), and disposable supplies which they plan to use for the actual examination including composite materials, personal handpieces and instruments. Participants who do not own a Kilgore typodont may rent one from Sinclair for an additional $20.00 lab fee.
Students will be required to wear scrubs, lab coats, hair pulled back and off the collar, minimal jewelry, and must bring their own safety glasses during the clinical session. We are a latex reduced facility.
The course fee includes professional instruction, amalgam material, all board prepared typodont teeth (3 each), two $8.00 vouchers for the Tartan Marketplace (on campus) dining café and two parking passes.
