Continuing Education Information

Contact Hours for Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses: Nurses desiring contact hours register through the Nursing  Continuing Education Office (registration form).  Prices are based on length of class and contact hours earned.  From State of Ohio Board of Nursing Rule #4723-14-04, one credit hour earned in an academic quarter system is equivalent to ten contact hours for Continuing Nursing Education.

Sinclair Community College (OH-101/07-01-12) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Credit Hours for Sinclair Community College nursing students and transfer students: Students register through the office of Registration & Student Records.  (Cost is based on Sinclair's registration fees per credit hour).

No-Show Policy:  Any students not attending a class for which they are registered will receive an "F".  They must withdraw from a class to avoid a failing grade.  (Check the Winter  bulletin for withdrawal dates).  Absolutely no substitutions will be made for missed classes.
