Adolescence is a difficult time of life in which a person must build a new identity and learn to deal with others in different ways than before. However, young people from different cultures vary in how they cope with day-to-day problem situations. Read this article that explains the roles that environment and cultural history play in the choice of coping strategies by adolescents.
