MUSIC DEPARTMENT

Scholarships

If you are thinking about majoring in music at Sinclair, consider auditioning for a Music Department Scholarship. Auditions are held between February and May of each year. Students need to be prepared to play or sing two contrasting selections. (You will need to provide your own accompanist, if performing music that includes a piano part.) Sinclair does its utmost to award significant scholarships to every deserving music major. Additionally, there are special scholarship opportunities each year for selected students that are provided by organizations such as the Sinclair Foundation and the Dayton Chamber Music Society.
