The Doris Miller Scholarship

The Manual Communication Program of Sinclair Community College and the Dayton community are proud to offer the Doris Miller Scholarship.  The award is presented in honor of one of the founders of the program.

 

This award is available to students in the manual communication program who o are seeking either the Associate of Applied Science in Manual Communication Degree or the Certificate of Achievement in Deaf Studies.  Applicants must have completed a minimum of 15 Manual communication credit hours with a grade point average of 3.0 or better.  Applicants must be actively involved with the Deaf community and must be a member of the MAC Club.  A letter of recommendation must accompany the attached application form.  Sinclair faculty members are not eligible to write letters of recommendation for this scholarship.

 

Application forms are available in room 9222.  Competed applications are to be submitted in Room 9222 by June 29.  This is a “tuition only” scholarship and students can reapply annually.
