Program Completion Rate:  The number of students that begin the program divided by the number of students that actually complete the program. (Measured annually)
Credentialing Examination Pass Rate: The number of students that pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist’s (ARRT) certification examination on the first attempt divided by the number of students that attempt the exam within six months of graduation. (Five-year average)
Job Placement Rate: Total number of graduates employed in radiography, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance, or medical dosimetry within twelve months of graduation ÷ the number of graduates who actively sought employment in the radiologic sciences.
The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) has defined "not actively seeking employment" as:
  • Graduate fails to communicate with program officials regarding employment status after multiple attempts OR
  • Graduate is unwilling to seek employment that requires relocation OR
  • Graduate is unwilling to accept employment due to salary or hours OR
  • Graduate is on active military duty OR
  • Graduate is continuing education.
