Fulbright Scholar

Sinclair Welcomes First Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence

For the 2015-16 academic year, Sinclair is home to Hui-Hsi (Debby) Hung, Ph.D., the college's first Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence.  A native of Taiwan, Dr. Hung is part of the Management and Marketing Department and will be teaching Marketing and International Business Management. In addition, Dr. Hung will serve as a resource to the entire campus, serving as a guest speaker in other disciplines. Dr. Hung earned a Master of Science Degree in Risk Management from the University of Southampton, UK, and earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the National Central University in Taiwan.

Sinclair is one of only eight community colleges nationwide to be awarded this opportunity for the 2015-16 school year.

The Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (S-I-R) Program assists U.S. higher education institutions in expanding programs of academic exchange. By supporting non-U.S. scholars through grants for teaching at institutions that are building their international programs, both the U.S. institution and the scholar grantee benefit.

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is administered by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars, a division of the Institute of International Education.
