Learning Activities

In order to successfully complete this module, the following Learning Activities must be completed. Check the Calendar for due dates.

E-Lesson
1. Read the E-Lesson.

2. Complete the activities in the E-Lesson:

• Fill in the interactive calendar with your own schedule and print it for reference.
• Complete the checklist.

Taking Inventory
3. Take a moment in a quiet place to list your life responsibilities, including school work. Make columns for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, activities and duties. Now assign priorities to these items on a scale of 1 to 5, from 1 for Absolutely Essential to 5 for Optional; you'll probably have several items under each number. Then jot down next to each item approximately how much time in total you estimate you spend in each activity or task.

Now consider:

• What items on the list might interfere with maximizing your study time?
• What one item could you eliminate or reduce to make room for more study time?
• What steps would you need to take to open up more room in your schedule for school?
