Emergency Closing Procedure

If you have any questions about these procedures, please call the Distance Learning office (937 512-3262).

Case 1:  If Sinclair Community College is closed or delayed . . .

• Classes at WPAFB are cancelled or delayed accordingly (no exceptions).
• Check your local television or radio stations or visit www.whiotv.com/closings (or other local tv/radio websites) to see if Sinclair is closed or delayed, or go to www.sinclair.edu or http://my.sinclair.edu.  You can also call Sinclair’s Info line 24 hours a day at (937) 512-2888.
• Daytime classes will be cancelled by 5:00 a.m.
• Evening classes will be cancelled by 1:00 p.m.

Case 2:  If Sinclair Community College is open but WPAFB is closed or delayed . . .

• Classes at WPAFB will be cancelled or delayed accordingly.
• Check your my.sinclair course email for a notice from your instructor.
• Check your local television and radio stations or visit www.whiotv.com/closings or other local tv/radio websites to see if WPAFB is closed or delayed.
