Online Courses migrating to New Course Management System
Sinclair Online is in the process of moving all online courses to a new course management system, ANGEL (A New Global Environment for Learning). The transition to this system is taking place, a few courses at a time, over the Summer and Fall Quarters. By Winter Quarter, all online courses will be on ANGEL and will have the same look and feel.
Technology has changed considerably in the ten years that Sinclair faculty have been developing online courses and, over this time, the courses have been developed in formats ranging from simple web pages to the highly interactive environment of WebCT, the previous course management system. ANGEL will be much like WebCT, but with a few new features that will help students track their course activities and interact with others in the course. Let us know what you think!
