Student access to online courses and online course syllabi will be available at 8:00 a.m. on the first day of the term. Students should be prepared to begin at that time. Once the term ends, access to the online course is no longer available.
Your syllabus is available online for sections -TC thru -TY (exception: section -TP syllabus is only available from the Tartan Campus Store).
Verify that you are in fact signed up for an online course. Review your fee bill to confirm this (look for sections denoted as - TC thru - TY).
Obtain your student ID (Tartan Card). This is available from the Sinclair Registration office. You will need to know your student ID # to access most online courses and to purchase course materials online. This number appears on your Tartan Card and fee bill. If you do not know your number, contact Distance Learning (937-512-2990 or toll-free 1-888-226-2457). This assigned number will be used throughout your career at Sinclair.
Get your course materials. All textbooks and other course materials are available at the bookstore. Online purchases can be made through their web site http://bookstore.sinclair.edu or by visiting their store, located on campus in Building 7, first floor. Some courses are accompanied by a set of videotapes or CD-ROMs, also purchased from the bookstore.
