ACADEMIC DIVISIONS

Stage I

PAYMENTS:  Pay for your course (if you have not already done so).  Fee bills are mailed only to students who register by phone up to three weeks before the time classes begin.  After that, NO FEE BILLS WILL BE MAILED.  Students may pick up their bills in person or contact the Cashier’s officeBe aware of payment deadlines so that your registration is not cancelled.

Students may pay tuition by mail, online, or in person.  Students may pay tuition using the FACTS tuition management plan.  FACTS is not a loan program; there are no interest or finance charges or credit check.  The only cost is a $15 per quarter nonrefundable FACTS enrollment fee.  For more information, contact the Cashier’s Office or visit FACTS online

BOOKS:   Textbooks and other course materials are available at the Tartan Campus Store.  Online purchases are made through their web site at tartanstore.sinclair.edu.  Students may also visit the store located on the first floor of Building 7 on the Sinclair campus.  Be sure to indicate the section number of your course to ensure that you have the right materials.

STUDENT ID (Tartan Card):   New students will be issued a picture ID card and should use the same card throughout attendance at Sinclair.  Visit the office of Registration and Student Records (second floor of Building 10) or call 937-512-3000 for more information.  Students living beyond 60 miles of campus will have an ID card (no picture) sent to them.  The card is required to use the Testing Center.  It can also be used as a debit card to purchase food, copying services, or to obtain reduced parking rates on campus.

STUDENT E-MAIL ACCOUNT:   Sinclair uses an all-electronic notification system to communicate important information to students.  When you register for the first time as a Sinclair student, our system automatically creates a free e-mail account for you.  You can use this account as your primary email account or forward the mail to another e-mail account.  Make sure to check your my.Sinclair e-mail account frequently.  Sinclair uses this account to send notices about course cancellations and financial awards.  For more information go to the Sinclair web site www.Sinclair.edu and click on my.Sinclair.
